This is the section of the website where I get to brag about how talented my wife is. Not only is she my second photographer, photo assistant, co-graphic designer, and more; she is a graduate of Aveda Portland and fully certified and licensed in hair and makeup. She owns a mobile salon fully capable of cut, color, styling, and everything else you could need for hair and makeup. Besides the fact that she is my wife, I can honestly say she is one of, if not the best stylist in Eugene. I have questions about possibly having Rachel do the hair and makeup for my daughters wedding 8/20. I want someone who can come to the location Deepwoods. Since your both already doing pictures, Im not sure if that would work.
It’s usually no problem for her to do hair/makeup and photography for the same wedding as long as things are scheduled well. For the two photographer package, she is providing 4 hours of photography and I am providing 9 hours. She could do hair/makeup and then switch over to photography for the ceremony and reception. The only thing is that you would need to make sure that the girls and guys are getting ready at the same location. At Deep Woods you could have the girls getting ready in the bridal room and the guys getting ready in the bar/pub. Then, I would go back and forth during the getting ready process and get photos of both groups.
